New Year 2026 in Las Vegas

As we are approaching the new year 2026 there are somethings to expect as well. I know we might all be looking forward to the fun fireworks and family gathering or going out to hit the town. Don’t forget if you will be shooting fireworks this new years eve to be careful where you aim them and where they land. A firework is a quick way a fire can start if some dry grass or tree catches a spark it can light very quickly and spread to surrounding areas. Approximately 70% of outdoor fires are caused by human actions such as smoking, camping and shooting fireworks. Just a reminder to be extra cautious due to the desert conditions and how dry everything is here. Also with the new year comes lots of people from out of town which means drivers who don’t know the roads and traffic that can come out of no where. Which means a lot of traffic and could potentially lead to accidents on the road. If driving on or around the strip this week be careful for pedestrians crossing the streets at all times. Lot’s of people cross when not suppose to or where they shouldn’t cross but we should always keep an eye out to avoid any injuries to others. Make sure your home and auto insurance are up to date just in case of a house fire from a stray fireworks and your vehicles if you are involved in an accident.
